Here you can find the main planning documents, procedures, committee information, and board materials that shape public discussion in Uptown. The official documents page organizes these materials into six primary areas: Community Plan, General Plan, UpCPG Operating Procedures, Community Participation Plan, UpCPG Committees, and Board Meeting Materials.

Community Plan

The Uptown Community Plan provides detailed policy direction to implement the General Plan with respect to land uses, local streets and transit, public facilities, urban design, and the preservation of natural open space and historic and cultural resources within Uptown.

General Plan

The City’s General Plan is described as the constitution for development. Community Plans refine its citywide policies, designate land uses and housing densities, and provide additional site-specific recommendations where needed.

UpCPG Operating Procedures

Most recently amended and approved in October 2025, the UpCPG Operating Procedures govern the planning group.

Community Participation Plan

The Community Participation Plan outlines how the planning group approaches community involvement and public process.

UpCPG Committees

The UpCPG has three standing committees, various ad hoc committees as approved, and participates in several citywide committees affecting Uptown.

Board Meeting Materials

Agendas, Minutes, and Recordings of the UpCPG Board are grouped together as board meeting materials.
